Clerity (Pty) Ltd is an independently owned and managed South African company specialising in cleanrooms, controlled environments and contamination control.
We provide customers across Africa with access to an extensive portfolio of cleanroom products from leading international manufacturers, backed by specialist services, technical knowledge and hands-on support.
The transition from basan SA to Clerity (Pty) Ltd represents an exciting new chapter in our business, establishing Clerity (Pty) Ltd as an independent South African specialist in cleanroom, contamination-control and controlled-environment solutions.
More than a cleanroom supplier
Our business has always been about more than supplying products.
With approximately 8,000 products across our portfolio, we offer solutions covering cleanroom consumables, garments, gloves, cleaning and disinfection, wipes, stationery, packaging, flooring, furniture, monitoring and specialised equipment.
Our product portfolio is complemented by specialist services including training, bio-decontamination, calibration, environmental monitoring, product analysis and hygiene planning.
This combination of products, services and expertise enables Clerity (Pty) Ltd to provide customers with a comprehensive cleanroom solution from a single experienced partner.

The business behind Clerity (Pty) Ltd was established in South Africa in 2009 and our team brings more than 30 years of combined cleanroom industry experience.
Over that time, we have developed long-standing relationships with customers and international suppliers and built a detailed understanding of the challenges involved in operating cleanrooms and other controlled environments.
We support organisations across industries including pharmaceutical and medical-device manufacturing, biotechnology, healthcare, research, electronics, food manufacturing, optics and other sectors where contamination control is critical.

No two controlled environments are exactly the same.
Product selection, processes, people, contamination risks and compliance requirements all need to work together. Our approach is therefore based on understanding each customer’s environment and helping identify solutions appropriate to their particular requirements.

Meet Our Core Team
Ivor Goetsch
Operations Director
Ivor has been with Clerity since the very beginning of 2009. He is responsible for all aspects of the business, from coordinating logistics, finance, and HR and ensuring the business is operational.
Sascha Rother
Director
Sascha started working for Clerity Germany in the early 2000s and developed a passion for cleanrooms. In 2009 he started Clerity SA with Ivor. He is responsible for sales and marketing activities across Africa.
Pearl Soyizwaphi
Sales Consultant and Cleanroom Specialist
Pearl has been with Clerity since 2017. She has a BSc and came from the medical field to become our cleanroom expert. She is our client’s first point of contact and is always there to assist with their needs.
Michelle Brits
Warehouse Manager
Michelle is responsible for our warehouse in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth and assisting with administrative activities. She receives all deliveries, ensures all orders go out on time, and that our warehouse is in pristine condition.
